The “International Ballet & Contemporary Summer Workshop” is a summer seminar of classical ballet and contemporary dance with the participation of distinguished teachers/dancers from Greece and abroad. The pioneering project, after its successful five-year course, having as its main pillar the upgrading of dance in Thessaloniki and the mobility of dancers, expands its activity into new fields. This year, thanks to the success of previous years, the seminar presents a new dynamic, hosting guests from almost all continents. With the associative participation of artists from Europe, Asia and America, the evolving course of the seminar aims at the transmission of cultures, ideas and networking. Thus, with the aim of the interaction of cultural standards and the exchange - not only of dance movements - but also of various linguistic identities, the art of dance becomes the means of spreading Greek culture to other continents.
